About the Church: This small Ermita was built in 1963, although it looks a lot older. It is used locally for the patronal festivals by the Spanish Roman Catholic Church. Since 2001 the Anglican congregation have greatly improved the condition of the building, putting in a new altar and chairs. This has enabled us to feel much more at home in this intimate and attractive building.
Orba is a small town, of which Orbeta is an adjoining hamlet. Scattered around the scenic green landscape of this valley are a number of villages where the members of our friendly congregation live.
We welcome all who wish to celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday at 9.45 am.

| Directions: Orbeta is a hamlet on the very edge of Orba. Those who worship here come from any direction around this inland complex of villages, including Jalon, Alcalali and Parcent, so directions begin from very close to the church, and an exploratory visit is probably advisable to start with.
Orba is 3kms west of Benidoleig, and 9km from Ondara on the N332.
Just outside the centre of Orba on the CV731 is a road junction marked by a sculpture of an open-sided cube standing on one of its corners, with a town sign for Orba and small sign post to Orbeta.
From Orba:
- It’s a sharp right turn about 200m from the town centre
- Continue up this small road for about 500m until you come to some new houses on the left very close to the roadside, and some open ground to your right, with period houses on an upper level. Park here.
- The Ermita will be visible at the right-hand end of the upper level.
From Benidoleig:
- It’s a half-left turn off the main road where the official Orba town boundary sign is placed adjacent to the cube.
- Continue up this small road for about 500m until you come to some new houses on the left very close to the roadside, and some open ground to your right, with period houses on an upper level. Park here.
- The Ermita will be visible at the right-hand end of the upper level.
