The Holy Spirit Anglican Chaplaincy on the Costa Blanca is based in south-east Spain, is part of the Church of England´s Diocese in Europe, and is maintained on lines very similar to any parish within any diocese in the Church of England. The Chaplaincy extends from Gandia to Alicante.

The Diocesan Bishop is The Right Reverend Geoffrey Rowell, Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe. The Cathedral of the Diocese is in Gibraltar, with two other Pro-cathedrals in Brussels and Malta.
